Under the direction of Chris Allen and James Rushman, the choir have turned their attention to promoting and supporting St. James Church and Hall in East Ham Road, Littlehampton as a Community Hub following the closure of the church with no further services being held.
Spokesperson Chris Allen commented, ‘Both the church and hall are in need of more bookings to ensure they can remain open for the community in the long term. There are still expenses to cover even though services are no longer held in the church. So, any groups looking for a new home whether they are established or a new one just getting off the ground are welcome to hire the hall or the church or both’.
Enquiries and bookings can be made via 01243 582330.
Coffee and chat mornings are open to the local community to enjoy. They are run on Friday mornings from 10.30am to 12 noon.
**There will be a special Coffee and Chatter Morning on 16th November in aid of BBC Children In Need**
All are welcome to pop in and meet old friends, make new ones or even knit and natter whilst enjoying a tempting array of cake with a coffee or two.
